The desire to own a dog has always been within me, from a very young age, unfortunately my parents did not agree very much because we lived in an apartment and they thought that an animal in the house would have been too sacrificed.
As the years passed, the desire took root more and more in me, and at the age of 15 fortunately my paternal grandmother came to my rescue and made me the most beautiful gift of my life: the November 12, 1994 became a member of the STAROPHASIA family, a very sweet 50-day-old boxer puppy and from that day on my life was transformed into the dream I had always wanted.
Time passed and the relationship with Asia became stronger: I spent most of my time with her, we went for long walks and with her I had my first experiences at dog shows.
Then it was time to give a husband to Asia, looking through Boxer’s magazines and with the help of two very dear people, Gianfranco and Irene Martelli, I managed to find a beautiful male: Baldo, a son of Simona of the Maga and the great champion Aaron of the Knights of Monferrato. From their mating 8 wonderful puppies were born one of which, Athena, remained to keep me and Asia company.
With Athena I began to have great satisfactions by treading and winning in the beauty rings and also by going to the training camp, where together we achieved Cal3 and where I met many friends and many important breeders.
Thanks to Asia and Athena, in 2000 I had the opportunity to give a name to my passion: thus the “Macchiaioli” breeding was born.
The desire to go on was growing more and more: at an expo with Asia I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Paola Micara Watten, a great breeder and international judge, who trusting me, gave me the opportunity to continue cultivating my passion giving me a beautiful tawny female of her breeding: Watwald Rapanui.
With Rapanui, affectionately renamed “Olivia” by me, I had great satisfaction: Olivia became:
ITALIAN BEAUTY CHAMPION
ITALIAN BOXER CLUB CHAMPION
AUSTRIAN CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
What more could I wish for?
To get almost to the present day, Olivia had only one husband: Arcy Von Burg Znojmo, a beautiful fawn mask with which she gave birth to 7 puppies of which, obviously, one remained at home with us: Isabeau who, for tread in mom’s footsteps, she became champion too:
YOUNG ENCI PROMISE
YOUNG MONEGASQUE CHAMPION
CHAMPION OF SAN MARINO
We are almost arrived to the present day, now my professional level of breeder has grown and has been enriched more and more thanks to the advice of friendly people and breeders of great importance and experience, but it does not end here. You never stop learning and today my main purpose is to continue breeding in compliance with the standard trying to produce morphological and above all sanitary correct subjects.
